This document describes how 4096.io collects, stores and uses information within our products ("Service").

By using the Service, you accept this Privacy Policy. Please do not install or use the Service if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information collection and storage

The Service collects analytics and diagnostic information, such as screen resolution, usage information, crash reports, operating system version, request details and similar technical information, to help us understand Service usage, optimize performance, investigate errors and provide a better Service. Analytics data is automatically deleted 14 months after you stop using the Service.

If you participate in online rankings, the Service collects your provided nickname, message, score information and coarse location (country). Ranking nicknames, messages, scores and country are public.

Age restrictions and children's privacy

If a user is identified as under the applicable age threshold, the Service disables personalized advertising, analytics, third-party tracking, in-app purchases and online rankings for that user, where required or appropriate.

Content moderation

Ranking board nicknames and messages are public user-generated content. Ranking content may be processed by moderation systems and service providers to detect unsafe or inappropriate content. We may edit or delete inappropriate content and permanently ban offenders. To report offensive content, contact us immediately at panu.vuorinen@gmail.com.

Third party services

For users not restricted by age limits, the Service uses third party services for analytics and advertisements. These services may include Google Analytics Suite and Google AdMob. Data may be processed and stored in countries where these providers operate, including the United States. All data transmitted between the Service and third-party servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

Google Analytics Suite is used under the lawful basis of legitimate interest to improve the Service. Google AdMob may show personalized ads and may collect, use and store data about you to enable this. In EEA and UK, personalized ads are only shown with user's consent.

You can purchase the "Remove ads" in-app purchase to stop advertisements and ad-related data collection, usage and storage.

Do not sell or share my personal information

Some U.S. state privacy laws give you the right to opt out of selling or sharing personal information for personalized advertising. You can use the "Do not sell my personal information" button in the app to disable personalized ads.
